About Us 

Established in the year 1969. Inaugurated on 19.12.1969 with 11 inmates.  Nalakath Veeran Haji (Late) donated 26 acres of land for the Yatheem khana.  A committee namely, Nilambur Orphanage Committee was formed in 1970 and was registered as per the Society Act of 1860 vide No.8/1970. First President of the  committee was Late Dr. M.Usman Sahib. The Orphanage was  approved by Orphanage Controll Board.

Another Yatheem Khana was established in 1975 at Eranhimangad exclusively for girl students  in the land purchased by the committee.

Source of income:-  Mainly donations from the public, Zakat, sadaqa etc. On 10^th February 1999, a new committee headed by Janab.  P.V.Abdul Wahab Sahib taken  over the administration of the Yatheem Khana. The General Body meeting of the erstwhile  committee unanimously decided to entrust Janab. P.V.Abdul Wahab Sahib to take  responsibility  of the Orphanage. Late Janab. Aboobacker Karakkunnu took Charge  General Secretary of the Yatheem Khana on   6.7.2001. The Yatheem Khana campus was re-named as “Santhigramam”. A masterplan was prepared for the improvement of the campus. It was the begining of the change in all the activities of the Yatheem Khana. The present strength of the inmates of the Yatheem Khana are as follows.

  Boys: 6, Girls:  77 : Total 144

1.  Jouharul Islah Da’wa College, Eranhimangad:-

             Established in 1975 .

             Afzal-Ul-Ulama Prliminary, Final, M.A.Arabic classes.

             Gives special emphasis on the study of Quran and Sunnath.

2.  Amal English School Myladi, Eranhimagad.

             Established in 2002. Classes from KG to VII Standard.

3.    Amal College of Advanced Studies, Myladi, Santhigramam, Eranhimangad. Established  in the year 2005. An aided College affiliated to the University of  Calicut.

4.     Jan Sikshan Sanstan, Malappuram (JSS)

             Established in 2006, under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of  India. It is an Institute of Peoples Education., which give vocational training to backward, sheuled  Cast, Sheduled Tribe and marginalised peoples. It  tries to make them self reliant. More than  18000 persons have been given  training through 850 training programmes so far. Director. Mr. V.Ummerkoya

5.      Santhigramam Herbal Garden.

             More than  100 varieties of Medicinal Plants are cultivated in the herbal garden.  Many visitors especially students come here to study about the plants. It was approved Kerala State Horticultural Mission.

6.      Institute of Tailoring & Embroidary, Eranhimangad.

             It gives training to girls students and women in Tailoring & Embroidary.

7.     Madrassa Education.

             Madrass Education is given to our students and the students in the locality. Two Madrassas are functioning in Myladi and Eranhimangad.
